Step 1- Read all information carefully and familiarise yourself with all the policies and forms (prior to accepting your Offer of Admission).
Make sure that you have read and understood the details of your offer of admission before you commence the process of accepting and paying. If you have any questions about your offer, you should contact the CSU Admissions Office on admissions@csu.edu.au .

Step 2 – Pay your fees
Once you are ready to proceed with your acceptance, you will need to make payment of your first session tuition fees as detailed in your offer. Both your acceptance and payment must be received before your enrolment can be finalised.
For Session 1 2010 payment can only be made by cheque or money order. Please complete the Remittance Advice and attach it to your payment and acceptance, then send or deliver it to the CSU Ontario Campus.
Refund Policy & Procedures
Should you wish to withdraw your application or withdraw from a subject once your first session tuition fee has been paid, a cancellation fee will apply. Please refer to the Refund Policy and Procedures for On-Campus Students studying at CSU Ontario. You must advise CSU in writing of your intention to withdraw.

Step 3 – Return your acceptance and associated documents to CSU before the due date on your offer
- Sign and date the Acceptance of Offer at the end of your offer of admission (this was emailed to your nominated email account)
- Return by fax or email to your Administrative Campus.

- Check the CSU Ontario website to download, complete and submit the following required forms to CSU Ontario by 29 July 2009:

- Proof of Freedom from Active Tuberculosis
- Authorization for release of full academic transcript/s to the Ontario College of Teachers
- Submit a request for a Police Check Consent to Ontario Education Services Corporation by 1 July 2009 (see link on the CSU Ontario website) and send a copy of the result to CSU – Ontario campus by 31st of July 2009.
NB You cannot attend your placement until this Police Check is received. - Check the CSU Ontario website for the listing of prescribed text books and an order form.
What Next
Logging into the CSU Website
This information provides you with details of how you can ‘Get Online’ with CSU whether you are currently considering a University offer or you have already accepted a place and are ready to get started.
To access the many CSU services you will need a Login ID and Password. These have already been created for you. To obtain them you need to access a computer that is connected to the internet with a web browser such as Internet Explorer or Safari and your email account such as Hotmail, Gmail or Yahoo.
To obtain your ID and Password simply go to our website www.my.csu.edu.au and click on the link “Activate my Login”
You will then be taken through a simple process that allows us to identify who you are by asking you to provide your First (or Given) Name and Last (or family) Name, your Date of Birth together with any 2 of the following, Student Number, Postcode, Country of Birth, Phone Number.
Once identified, you will follow a process that verifies your email address, followed by a Question and Answer that will be used if you forget your password in the future.
Finally, you will be asked to agree to the University’s Code of Conduct after which you will receive your ID and Password.
To ensure proper security your password has been set to expire within 12 hours so you should immediately login to my.csu.edu.au and change your password which will then be valid for 60 days.
If you have any difficulties in using the system or you are not able to be correctly identified simply contact our IT service desk on +61 2 6338 4357 who will be able to assist you in completing the process. Remember that our IT Service Desk may not be operating in the same time zone as you, so you may need to submit an online request at www.csu.edu.au/division/dit/f_sdesk.html
Examination Centres
Distance Education students may need to nominate an exam centre. Once your acceptance and payment have been finalised and you have accessed the CSU Website, please visit the Online Administration Office to check your exam centre and change as necessary. If you are unsure, please contact your Administrative Campus.
Complaints and Appeals
If at any time you are not satisfied with the service provided to you or the decisions that have been made by Charles Sturt University you may submit a complaint to the University Ombudsman.
