Dean of Students Professor Julia Coyle PhD has been living and working in the Albury-Wodonga region for 24 years. She came to Australia in 1985 after training and working as a physiotherapist in London. Julia's clinical practice spanned 20 years with experience in Australia across metropolitan, regional and remote areas, and in both public and private health contexts.
In her current position, as Dean of Students at Charles Sturt University, she is responsible for enhancing student experiences and ensuring quality student-centred practice. Julia is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Her key research interests are in inter-professional health practice, team work and injury prevention.
Current non-tertiary roles include Director of Albury-Wodonga Health Board, and Nursing and Allied Health Rural Locum Scheme Board.
