The 2009 CSU Careers Fair took place on Monday, March 9th as part of a national schedule.
The Careers Fair was held at the Bathurst Campus Gymnasium. Access to this event was available to all CSU internal and Distant Education students.
The purpose of a Careers Fair is to inform students in their final-year, in their penultimate year, and those commencing study for the first time - of the career development opportunities which occur, not just at the end, but throughout the entire student experience. Many final-year students were surprised to learn that some graduate opportunities, for example, graduate programs are advertised and have application deadlines very early each year.
Further information about graduate opportunities can be found on Career Hub and an explanation of some graduate employment terms is located in the FAQ section of CareerHub.
