Careers Fair
The 2009 CSU Careers Fair will take place on March 9th as part of a national schedule.
The Careers Fair will be held at the Bathurst Campus Gymnasium. Access to this event is available to all CSU internal and Distant Education students via video links, video conferencing and/or transport to and from other campuses.
The purpose of the Careers Fair is to inform all students of the career development opportunities which occur, not just at the end, but throughout the entire student experience. Many final-year students are suprised to learn that some graduate opportunities, for example graduate programs, are advertised and have application deadines very early each year.
Further information about graduate opportunities can be found on Career Hub and an explanation of some graduate employment terms is located in the FAQ section of CareerHub.
Students attending a Careers Fair at their own university, or elsewhere, should ask for an information sheet (sample) to get the most out of attending and speaking with potential employers.
