Information for Prospective Students with a Disability
Introduction
Charles Sturt University is committed to providing an inclusive educational environment. We will promote awareness and understanding of issues for students with a disability and encourage independence at all times. Students who have a physical or sensory impairment, medical condition, learning disability, or psychological condition that affects access to or participation in study or University life, are strongly advised to contact the Disability Liaison Officer at the home campus of their course prior to enrolment.

- Find out about the course
Prospective students or their associates are advised to read the course information available on the CSU website or in booklet format available from the CSU Contact Centre on 1800 334 733. You should then discuss the demands and essential requirements or the course with the course coordinator if you think you will need study adjustments to fully participate in your chosen course. Phone the CSU Contact Centre for the University staff contact details.

- Discuss Disability Services and Resources
Contact Disability Services prior to enrolment if you have any questions or concerns regarding services and resources. Students who require transcription of study materials or where mobility access may be a concern are particularly encouraged to contact the Disability Liaison Officers when they apply for study at CSU.
- Do a STUDY LINK subject
By completing one or more STUDY LINK subjects, you will not only increase your skills, but also develop a clear understanding of the expectations of studying at University. STUDY LINK subjects are available to both prospective and enrolled students.
- CSU Connect bridging program
CSU Connect is a free “bridging” program that will fast-track people into a nominated undergraduate degree course at Charles Sturt University. For more information go to the CSU Connect website.
- Accommodation
CSU has accessible accommodation on several of its campuses. Contact the Disability Liaison Officers or email accommodation@csu.edu.au to discuss the options. Visit the website for on campus and off campus accommodation for general information .
