How to Accept your Commonwealth or CSU Equity Scholarship Offer
The Commonwealth and CSU Equity Scholarships Program aims to assist students from low socio-economic backgrounds, particularly those from rural and regional areas and Indigenous students, with costs associated with higher education. On behalf of the Australian Government, the allocation of all NEW non-Indigenous Commonwealth Scholarships will be administered by Centrelink from 2010. For further information on the new Commonwealth Scholarships (Relocation Scholarship and Start-Up Scholarship) scheme refer to the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) website.
Charles Sturt University will continue to administer current continuing Commonwealth Scholarship recipients under the Commonwealth Government's 'grandfathering' agreement.
How to Accept an IAS, Indigenous-CECS, Indigenous-CAS or CSUES Offer for 2010 Allocation of Scholarships
Congratulations on receiving a Commonwealth Accommodation Scholarship-Indigenous Payment (CAS-I) or CSU Equity Scholarship Offer with Charles Sturt University (CSU) for 2010.
Please click on the appropriate link below for the Scholarship Offer/Acceptance Form to view and download the form which contains information on "How to Accept your Scholarship Offer" with CSU. This form may be printed, completed and returned to the University if you do not wish to wait for its arrival in the mail.
For University Admissions Centre of NSW (UAC) scholarship applicants, this information has also been sent with the UAC Offer letter sent on behalf of CSU.
For Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre (VTAC) scholarship applicants, this information will also be sent with CSU's Scholarship Offer Confirmation Letter, which you will receive within two weeks of accepting the appropriate course offer with CSU. Initially you will have received a provisional scholarships offer letter sent to you by VTAC on behalf of CSU.

- CSU Equity Scholarship (CSUES) Offer/Acceptance Form (pdf document). This link will be made active in January 2010 when Scholarship Offers are published by UAC or VTAC.
If you intend on downloading and returning one of the above acceptance forms, you do not need to complete the acceptance brochure when it is received in the mail from UAC or CSU.
