How We Can Help

Indigenous Student Services spans everything from assistance with Admission through to Graduation.  Your first call for assistance should be to Indigenous Student Services (ISS).

The ISS through its centres on each campus offers support to all Indigenous students from admission through to graduation. Our aim is to encourage all Indigenous students to participate and succeed in tertiary education.

We invite you to look through all services, programs and facilities listed in the right hand and left hand columns and also at the bottom of the page. Contact us to find out how we can unlock your academic potential and help you with the many demands of Uni study.

Services we provide

Academic, cultural, and social support
Each of our Centres offer support for academic, cultural and social needs from pre-enrolment through to graduation.  We provide a confidential setting where students are able to come in and speak freely.

Advocacy
Our staff can advocate on a student's behalf with other university staff.

Student Centres
Student centres are currently operating at Ngungilana at Wagga, Winan-Gidyal at Albury Wodonga, Wammara at Bathurst and the Goulburn centre. They provide access to computers and printing in a dedicated student workspace.  Students can drop in at any time to use these facilities.
