WAMMARRA IS A WIRADJURI WORD MEANING "TO BUILD ON ONE'S EDUCATION"

Wammarra is located on the Bathurst Campus of Charles Sturt University. Indigenous students studying through the Bathurst campus are enrolled in full-time and part-time modes, and study by on-campus and distance education. Staff can assist and support prospective students with application for admission, funding through ABSTUDY, accommodation enquiries, study skills, careers, academic and personal counselling, tutorials and general support.

Study Facilities

Wammarra has one computer room with at least five computers for students to access for their studies and printing facilities for students' use during business hours. Students can also organise after-hours studies if requested in advance with any staff member of the Indigenous Student Services on campus. Students need to show their CSU student ID card before approval. Wammarra also provides two tutor rooms where students can study or receive tutorial assistance with their tutor. It also has a common room with kitchen facilities where student, staff and tutors can liaise and communicate.
