The staff from Ngungilanna, Wammarra, Winan-Gidyal and Barraamielinga are dedicated in supporting each and every individual Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander student through any academic challenge. All staff members can provide advice, assist, refer, advocate and liaise with other faculty divisions within Charles Sturt University (CSU) on your behalf to make life easier for you as a student.
The Indigenous Tutorial Assistance Scheme (ITAS) is funded by DEEWR (Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations). ITAS funding is provided to the Indigenous Student Services of CSU for the purpose of engaging appropriately qualified tutors to supplement a student's learning with respect to the academic requirements of a particular subject or group of subjects within the student's degree program.
All of the Indigenous Student Services staff at CSU can organise one-on-one and small group tutorial assistance for eligible Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students in all discipline/subject areas.
Please note that the scheme was previously known as the Aboriginal Tutorial Assistant Scheme (ATAS) but is now the Indigenous Tutorial Assistant Scheme (ITAS). Many of the below forms refer to ATAS, however it is the same scheme as ITAS under DEEWR.
