NGUNGILANNA IS A WIRADJURI WORD MEANING "TO EXCHANGE/TO GIVE TO ONE ANOTHER"
The office is located on the Wagga Wagga Campus of Charles Sturt University.
Indigenous students studying through the Wagga Wagga campus are enrolled in full-time and part-time modes and study by on-campus and distance education. Common courses include Indigenous Mental Health, Teacher Education, Social Welfare, Bachelor of Business, Agriculture, Horticulture, Graphic Design, Bachelor of Arts, Computing, Medical Laboratory Science and Nursing.
Ngungilanna is a support unit for Indigenous students. Staff can assist and support prospective students with an application for admission, funding through various government assistance, accommodation enquires, study skills, careers, tutorials and general support.
Ngungilanna has one computer room with at least six computers for students to access for their studies with printing facilities for students' use during business hours and after hours. Students can also organise after-hours studies if requested in advance with any staff member of the Indigenous Student Services on campus. Students need to show their CSU student ID card before approval will be given. Ngungilanna also provides two tutor rooms where students can study or receive tutorial assistance with their tutor. It also has a common room with kitchen facilities where students, staff and tutors can liaise and communicate.
KAP - Koori Admissions Program is offered to all ATSI people as an alternative admission to university program with appropriate education.
