An example of a well-structured essay
Many study skills books and websites provide example essays. Check the references at the end of this topic.
The University of New England website contains a very good example of a tertiary essay. Throughout the essay comments are inserted in the margin to highlight the features you have been reading about here. Please note however that the referencing does NOT follow the CSU recommended style, although very close. There are minor differences such as (Smith 2004:19) which should be written as (Smith 2004, p.19). The list of references differs in punctuation.
