Case 3 - Sharing assignments
You are struggling to understand an assignment question and have to submit the assignment in a few days. A friend offers to give you a copy of an answer to the question written by a student last year that received a distinction grade. You accept your friend's offer and read the borrowed paper after which you put the borrowed paper aside – more confident now that you understand what you are required to do. You do your own research, develop your understanding and write your paper.
