International Student Support Service
International Student Support Officers (ISSOs) are available to help and support you in your adjustment to studying and living at CSU. Our support to you and your family begins with pre-arrival information, arrival assistance and continues throughout your study at CSU to your return home.
The International Student Support Officers support students by providing:
- Peer Support/Mentoring
- Referral to other Services within CSU and the Community
- Advocacy on behalf of students
- Representation of international student's issues both on and off campus
- Assistance with Personal and Academic matters
- Community Linkages
- Returning Home Workshops and Farewell Gathering
- Promotion of cultural diversity
International Student Support Officers are also part of a team of support within Student Services. These services are designed to assist all students to achieve their goals while at University. These services include: Orientation, Learning Skills, Maths Support, English Support, Accommodation (both on campus and off campus), Health, Religious/Community, Counseling, Career Advice, Disability Support Services, and Student Equity Support.
