Booking Changes
Alterations or cancellations requested from the original booking will be charged the Alteration / Cancellation Fee (where 72 hours prior notice is not provided). This includes changes to dates, allocated accommodation areas, etc. Alterations or cancellations can only be confirmed upon receipt of a written request to Student Central.
Alteration
Alteration fees and additional nightly charges apply to each alteration of a booking as follows:
- Prior to early-bird cut off date - additional nights will be charged at the early-bird rate plus the alteration fee will apply (where 72 hours prior notice is not provided)
- After early-bird cut off date but prior to arrival - additional nights will be charged at the normal rate plus the alteration fee will apply (where 72 hours prior notice is not provided)
- After arrival (eg: add additional nights to the end of a booking) - additional nights will be charged at the normal rate plus the alteration fee will apply (where 72 hours prior notice is not provided)
Cancellation
Students will be charged a cancellation fee when cancelling an entire booking or a night within a booking.
Cancellation fees are applied to either cancellation prior to arrival, non-arrival or early departure.
- Prior to arrival - Cancellation fee will apply (where 72 hours prior notice is not provided). No nightly accommodation fees will be charged for cancelled night/s.
- Non arrival (eg: no written notification of cancellation prior to scheduled arrival) - Cancellation fee will apply and student will be charged for the first night of booking.
- Early departure - Cancellation fee will apply (where 72 hours prior notice is not provided). No nightly accommodation fees will be charged for cancelled night/s.
Notification of cancellation must be made in writing by submitting an online enquiry to Student Central. A student will not have a room cancellation processed until written notice has been received.
