Airport / Train Shuttle Bus
Bathurst, Wagga Wagga and Taxi Services.
Bathurst:
The Bathurst Shuttle Bus service will be operating for the August 2011 Residential Schools. Bookings must be made over the phone, at least TWO working days prior to your arrival, i.e. if you are arriving on a Monday, you must book your bus no later than Thursday, prior to your arrival.
You can only make a booking by calling Student Central on 1800 275 278 (1800 ASK CSU) from 8am-6pm, Monday-Thursday and 8am-5pm on Friday. Arrangements will be made to collect you on arrival from the airport, bus/train station or drop you off on your departure.
If you fail to book your bus two working days prior to your arrival and/or departure, you must make your own way to campus and you will not be reimbursed for your expenses.
It's important to note that the Bathurst Shuttle Bus service will ONLY operate if there are bookings!
Wagga Wagga
In Wagga Wagga, for Residential Schools in August 2011, the University will be continuing to trial a partnership agreement with Wagga Airport Shuttle service, which will provide a more comprehensive transfer service to students.
Wagga Airport Shuttle offer the following services to all students;
- A direct booking service to the passenger
- A set pick up time that will deliver passengers to the Airport in required time to catch their flights. Students should note that shuttle service times have been structured to enable enough time to catch flights with Wagga Wagga Airport requiring less book-in time than metropolitan airports.
- A more constant service at the Airport were we would service all bookings on a flight, 7 days a week
- Will operate to meet all day and night bookings and daytime trains. (If there is a demand for night train pickup and return, we will negotiate this cost separately).
- Reliable buses, 14 and 25 seater
- A high profile location at Wagga Airport next to the baggage claim area
- Accredited operators
- Accredited drivers
- Pay by cash or cheque at the time of pickup
- No pre-deposit is required
- An additional fee will be charged for early morning train services.
- Set time pickups from the Mini Market to the airport (only if bookings made) are: 5.15am, 11.45am, 3.45pm and 5.30pm. Bookings outside these times may incur an additional fee.
When booking, students should identify themselves as CSU students. It is perferable that all bookings provide 24 hours notice.
Subsidised price for CSU students is $25 on way per passenger or $45 return.
This is a substantial saving against normal passenger fares and is available to all CSU students whether staying on campus or in Wagga Wagga.
