CSU understands that the whole person is important in academic success, so it makes provision for spiritual support as well as support for the academic, financial and personal aspects of its students (and staff). Religious support comes in the form of provision of physical facilities (such as prayer rooms), and people who provide one-on-one support and organise group activites, worship services and more. The people are known as Visiting Spiritual Advisers because they are honorary, visiting employees of the University
What is a spiritual adviser?
Spiritual advisers are people who are appointed by and responsible to their particular faith group to provide spiritual/religious support and teaching, as well as practical help, to members of the University community - students, staff and their families. They are required to abide by a code of conduct set by the University.
