How to book careers service appointments
Whether you are in first or final year of study, there is always a career development activity you can undertake or some careers information to discover that can improve your longer term career management.
It is now even easier to:
- make individual appointments with a Career Development Officer
- book into Careers Service Workshops
- view complementary careers events and resources
Simply access CareerHub, follow the steps below, and then view all available appointment and workshop times. Choose an appointment or workshop availability which suits you best.
Follow these simple steps:
Step 1 - Register to use CareerHub
- Register for CareerHub using the online registration form - then follow Step 3. It is recommended that students select - Send me CareerHub Newsletters
Problems with registration? - email careers@csu.edu.au for assistance.
Step 2. Login to CareerHub (if already registered)
- Normal CSU student login and password
- Problems with login? Email details to careers@csu.edu.au for assistance
Step 3. View available appointments
- After login go to View available appointments down the left hand side of the CareerHub web page
- Select campus or counsellor
- Choose date and time that suits
- Click on Book Appointment
- Select appointment type and enter any other relevant information
- Click on red button Book in to attend this appointment. You will receive and an email notification booking has been made
If you are unable to make the appointment you can view your appointments and book out/cancel if necessary.

Supplementary Information
- Current students, once registered, have immediate access to CareerHub and also receive an email to confirm the correct email address
- Graduated students will receive confirmation of their CareerHub registration before they can proceed to access CareerHub
- Appointment bookings through CareerHub will allow students to view all available appointment times and manage their own appointments (eg., dates, times and cancellations)
- Telephone interviews are also available, especially for distance education students
- The appointment information in CareerHub is located alongside other service information, eg., Quick Job Search
- There is a maximum of one (1) appointment booking every seven (7) days
