Funded Projects Currently Underway
- A Social Justice Approach to University Entry: First Semester as a transition to tertiary study . A project being run by the School of Education, it involves the development of two first year education units as transition units. The aim is to provide students with literacy in the academic requirements and skills necessary to succeed at university study through embedding, and making explicit, the academic literacy and social networking skills
- From School to CSU for Indigenous students: Challenges, Barriers and initiatives. The Project being run by the Murray School of Education, aims to increase the understanding of issues related to students who would not normally consider university as a pathway, and raising the students aspiration toward university as a possibility. This will be done by working collaboratively with students and high schools.
- A pilot inter-professional investigation of the social support available for students undertaking professional experience in regional and remote Australia. Gabrielle O’Kane and colleagues in Clinical Sciences.
