CSU Interact

Supporting students during the implementation of CSU Interact

Interact is CSU's new online learning environment. All of our students need to be aware of the environment and where they can seek support in using this environment most effectively.

The Student Support project, managed by the Division of Student Services is a component of the OLE Programme.  This project provides an information and awareness campaign to inform and support students in the use of the Interact environment prior to and during its implementation in January 2008.  

The following strategies will be employed to support students throughout the implementation of CSU Interact.

All students will receive information regarding CSU Interact through the following methods:

A range of student support will be available from self help resources to a comprehensive facilitated subject in online learning.

At Risk students

A log of students who have not accessed CSU Interact by the end of Week 1 of Autumn session will be generated and included in a Call Out program run by student mentors.

Evaluation

Student access of CSU Interact will be measured against critical points of information provision in the Student Support program

Students will be sent a brief survey in Week 2 via the eBox to gauge awareness and understanding of Interact.
