Security

The University operates a security service on all campuses to ensure the safety of students, staff and property. If you feel unsafe for any reason just call the campus security service and they will assist.

Security Service

A Security Service operates every night and weekend at Bathurst, Wagga and Thurgoona campuses and is available after hours at the Dubbo campus, to ensure the safety of all residents. The Security Office is located in the Service Centre building at Bathurst and Wagga Wagga. In Thurgoona, the Security Office is located on the Ground Floor of the Administration Building and is manned by a University Security employee until 10.00pm. After this time, a privately contracted Security Service operates. At Dubbo campus, a privately contracted Security Service operates and is contactable by dialing the following number from the residential cottages:

The Security Officers patrol all campus grounds and buildings regularly. They will provide assistance during emergencies such as accidents and fires. However in case of extreme emergencies you should call "000" for the Ambulance, Fire Brigade, or Police. All telephones in the Residential blocks are connected to "000". (Note: Students need to dial "0" to get outside the university network when calling from a CSU phone. In essence dial, 0-000.)

Lockouts

The University provides a service to residential students who have locked themselves out of their study bedroom. If you find yourself in this situation, please call the following number:

Campus Watch

Campus Watch encourages personal safety practices among its studnets, staff and visitors while they are on any camous of the University. Signs displaying the Campus Watch symbol and telephone number are located across the campuses. Persons concerned about their personal safety on campus should contact security on the Campus Watch phone number:
