Church Services

Most Christian and a number of other faiths are represented in the Wagga, Bathurst, Dubbo and Albury communities. Information may be obtained from the University Chaplains who maintain a current list of the meeting timers and locations for these groups.

Laundries

A number of coin operated laundries are provided on campus by the University.

Sporting Facilities

These facilities are numerous and of a high standard at both Bathurst and Wagga Wagga. Gymnasiums, weight training equipment, and an indoor basketball court are provided. In addition, there are tennis courts, squash courts, pool (Wagga Wagga), sauna (Bathurst), sports ovals, and many other facilities available for student use at no cost.

Bank

An ANZ kiosk operates at the Wagga Wagga campus. Please note hours of operation do vary. An automatic teller machine is also available at the Bathurst and Wagga Wagga Campuses. A Commonwealth Bank agency operates in the Mini Mart at each campus.

Bookshop

A branch of the University Co-Op Bookshop is operated on campus. All necessary texts are available and orders for other texts can easily be placed. Membership is available at the bookshop and offers many benefits.

Unfair Treatment or Harassment

We hope your time at University will be enjoyable and worry free. Your time at University should also be dignified and peaceful. Unfortunately, however, from time to time - as in any community - some students may experience what is called harassment or discrimination. This can be what you consider as unfair treatment or even sex based harassment.

If you ever feel offended, threatened, intimidated, frightened or put down, assistance is available. You also have the right to have something done about it and there are a number of people who can help you.

You should not have to struggle through or be alone, putting up with anything you consider unfair. Tell someone about it!
