Bathurst is a city of 30,000 people situated just over two hundred kilometres west of Sydney. Bathurst is known for its motor race track around Mount Panorama. It is an academic city, boasting the headquarters and a campus of CSU, six high schools, twenty-one primary schools, a TAFE College and a Conservatorium of Music. Bathurst Campus

The Bathurst campus has a number of residential complexes that are available to new students. Five of the residences are located on campus. Mitchell, Truskett and Gordon houses are located 1.7km from the University and Hargraves is located a five-minute walk from the campus

Catered

Bathurst

The catered accommodation areas are located on university grounds situated near a central dining hall. They are all fully carpeted single study bedrooms with communal facilities and common rooms. The common rooms are equipped with refrigerators, kettles, toasters, microwaves and some have small toaster ovens. The University provides 15 meals per week, breakfast, lunch and dinner, Monday to Friday inclusive. Students are responsible for arranging their own weekend meals. Students often prepare light snacks in the common rooms, and barbeques are popular during the warmer months.

Self Catered

The Self-Catered areas are located both on and off campus. They are all heated, carpeted single and twin study bedrooms with communal facilities and common rooms. If you live in a self-catered residence you cook your own meals unless you decide to buy meals in the University Dining Room. Students need to bring basic crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils, including those suitable for a microwave oven.
