Textbooks

Textbooks are available on campus from the University Co-op Bookshop. Once you have purchased a share ($25) in the Co-op you are entitled to life membership and you may receive discounts on books and stationery. You also receive an 8% discount off prescribed or recommended texts for GST (conditions apply). The cost of textbooks can vary depending on the course and its subjects. For further information refer to the Co-op Bookshop website.

Some students sell their used textbooks at a discounted price. But always check with your Lecturer first if you find a second hand text with a previous edition (you may need the latest edition).

Textbooks can be very expensive, depending on the course you are studying. You should allow for these costs in your budget.

The Library purchases at least one copy of every prescribed textbook and aims to hold every 'recommended reading' book. However, students can not rely on these only; they need to purchase their own copies of textbooks.
