The Academic Year
The Acadmic year for students entering undergraduate degree programs (Bachelor degrees) or post-graduate course work degree programs (Diploma and Masters degree programs) is divided into two sessions (semesters), Autumn and Spring. Each session contains 13 weeks for teaching. There is a recess of approximately 6 weeks between the two sessions in which exams are conducted and there are short recesses of 3 weeks within each sessions.
