The Rule of Governance (Student Representation) (link to document below) established several student representative bodies at CSU after the closure of the Student Associations due to the introduction of VSU legislation. The overarching student body is referred to as the Student Senate. There are also several campus Student Representative Committees (SRC) and these are listed in right hand menu and links to their relevant Interact sites provided. These student bodies are responsible for ensuring the student voice, so if you have a student issue you which to raise, contact the relevant campus SRC or Student Senate via the email links below:

Student Representation on University Committees, Faculty and School Boards.
Students are represented on most CSU Schools and Faculty Boards, and on most CSU University Committees. Student Representatives attend committee meetings, and so they are familiar with how the University/Faculty/School is run, and are up to date on issues that are of concern to students. They are there to ensure the students’ perspective is heard within the University planning process and they are able to raise issues of concern that are identified by students. Students Representatives listen out for the good things that are happening (innovations that will have a positive implication for students), the bad things (changes that might disadvantage students), and the plain ugly (such as increases in fees, axing of courses). They can help the broader student community to be aware of the proposed changes, and they can work with the Student Representative Committees to represent the voice of students to address issues that emerge.
