Media and Public Relations

Our Media and Communication Officers bring decades of print, radio and online media experience to their roles, and work to promote CSU with positive stories in regional, national and international media. CSU News provides news and events from every CSU campus and location, and news items are distributed through CSU Media’s own subscription list of 1,600 journalists and the Meltwater press distribution database of more than 20,000 journalists across Australia and New Zealand.

CSU Media can assist staff to:

  • promote events, achievements or research through media releases and liaison
  • prepare for media interview with advice and media training
  • monitor the reach and effectiveness of media appearances through monthly media reports
  • establish working relationships with journalists in relevant rounds
  • draft and execute communication plans for Schools, Research Centres or other specific topics.
