Ms Kathryn Pitkin was elected as Deputy Chancellor in 2007. Ms Pitkin was a former senior officer in the NSW TAFE and held the position of Campus Manager for the Bathurst, Walgett and Lightning Ridge campuses of TAFE NSW Western Institute.
Kathryn has lived and worked in Bathurst since 1977 after teaching English and History at a number of schools in western NSW. She was educated, and has always worked, in public education as she is committed to the access to, and quality of, public education.
Ms Pitkin brings an in-depth understanding of the VET sector to support CSU's approach to dual sector programs.
