Where learners are enrolling as part of a Government funded traineeship or program (e.g. Strategic Skills Program) CSU Training will charge fees in line with the fees applied by TAFE NSW. As these fees are subject to change, learners and employers will be advised of the fee on application to enrol.
Payment terms
The various payment terms for each qualification can be found on the enrolment form and can be accessed from the Qualification Page.
Learners may also contact the CSU Training Officer (trainingofficer@csu.edu.au) to discuss an alternate payment schedule.
Re-issue of Certification or Statement of Attainment
Learners can apply for a re-issued qualification by applying in writing using the Re-issue Certificate Request Form. A re-issue fee of $50 applies.
CSU Training (CSUT) Refund and Withdrawal Policy
The following terms apply please read carefully prior to enrolment:
*Training commenced – training has commenced when a student has received learning materials from CSUT.
** Partial completion – a student has made initial contact with the Learning Facilitator (LF) for a Unit of study and/or has submitted a unit assessment to a LF for marking.
Withdrawal from course before training has commenced.
Full refund of monies paid less current enrolment fee.
Withdrawal from course after *training commenced
Refund of monies paid less current enrolment fee if application for withdrawal is received within 60 days of *training commencement. If application for withdrawal is received after this time no refund will apply.
Withdrawal from course **Partial completion
No refund is available for **partially completed Units.
If full course fees have been paid the student may apply for refund of monies less current enrolment fee for Units where **partial completion has not been made.
Application for a refund must be made in writing using the form attached.
All Learning materials/texts supplied by CSUT must be returned to CSUT before a refund will be made.
Applications for withdrawal or refund must be made within 60 days of enrolment.
Transfers
The application for transfer only applies where **partial completion of Units of study has not occurred.
A student may apply for transfer of enrolment to a colleague or other appropriate person within 60 days of *training commencement, subject to approval by the funding provider, where applicable.
Application for transfer must be made in writing on the form attached.
Refund of monies paid less current enrolment fee will apply.
Deferrals
A student may apply for deferral at anytime within 6 months after *training commencement, subject to approval from the funding provider, where applicable.
Request for deferrals must be made in writing on the form attached.
Recommencement fees may apply. Contact the CSUT for further information.
Special circumstances
Under special circumstances full refund may be applied at the discretion of the CSUT Manager.
Special circumstances do not include: unforseen increases in your workload, a change in your work hours, redundancy or retrenchment, moving interstate or overseas.
CSUT cannot be held accountable for changes in your circumstances.
In situations where the student wishes to withdraw due to prolonged illness or hardship the student must produce satisfactory evidence of the circumstances of his/her withdrawal , such as medical certificates.
Under Special circumstances the student will forfeit 50% of the enrolment fee and must withdraw within the expiration of the course duration.
Not yet competent results
Learners who have been deemed not yet competent in their training program are asked to contact the Program Co-ordinator to identify an appropiate option to suit their individual training needs.
Training Assurance
CSU Training undertakes to honour all student enrolments.
In the unlikely circumstance that training delivery cannot proceed, CSU Training will contact in writing, the learner and/or organisations affected and refund fees as per the terms of the refund policy within 4 weeks.
