Welcome to the Charles Sturt University Criminal Intelligence website.

'Criminal Intelligence' is the application of intelligence analysis methodology to the criminal world, including organised crime and terrorism. It aims to improve the quality of tactical, operational and strategic decisions involving finite resources.

At Charles Sturt University, Criminal Intelligence studies comprise an area of specialty within the Australian Graduate School of Policing (AGSP). Training is offered to Australian-based and overseas students in both the public and private sector.

Postgraduate courses including a Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma and Master of Arts are offered via distance education.

Criminal Intelligence staff also conduct a range of short courses for law enforcement and related professionals, including the National Strategic Intelligence Course (NSIC) and programs tailored for individual organisations.
