The University pre-entry test for the Inspectors’ Promotional Program (IPP) will be based on the pre-requisites you will need to demonstrate in order to handle the University component of the pre-entry test. The University component will include a basic computer skills general knowledge quiz, a comprehension test, and a writing test. The overarching theme of the university component of the IPP is leadership and management. As such, the comprehension test will utilise a piece of writing which relates in some way to human or social behaviour in relationship to fire and/or fire services, however it won’t test your knowledge of management theories.
