Bio
Tony Buffet has recently taken personal leave from the Australian Customs Service to work with CSU as a Criminal Intelligence Lecturer. Tony comes from a diverse employment background, which has included 26 years in Defence working in the Security, Policing and Counterintelligence environments. Upon leaving Defence, Tony was employed in the Queensland State Government where he worked providing advice on Security and Risk Management.
Tony commenced employment with the Australian Customs Service as an Investigator, he was promoted to the Manager of Intelligence Collection and Liaison where he worked until joining CSU.
Academically, Tony holds a Master of Justice in Strategic Intelligence and a Bachelor of Science. He also holds a Diploma of Training Assessment Systems and a Diploma of Security Risk Management.
