David Cameron
Bio
David has lectured at CSU since 2000. He also coordinates postgraduate journalism. He has worked in radio news, production, and program management. He has also been a freelance Web designer. David is an informative and interesting guest speaker on subjects related to Generation-Y, journalism, social media, and videogame-based learning.
Teaching
David teaches primarily in the areas of journalism and social media. He has been the lead teacher for first-year Communication students in the area of digital technology, working closely with a team of tutors to prepare students with basic digital imaging and Web production skills. David is the Presiding Officer of the School's Teaching Development Committee, and has also represented the Faculty of Arts on several education and technology working parties. He is an inaugral Teaching Fellow with CSU's Flexible Learning Institute.
Research
David is an active researcher in the School. He is a Chief Investigator on an Australian Research Council linkage grant project (2007 - 2009), with the Australian Defence Force as a major partner. He is also working on a Faculty of Arts Development Grant project, and a Scholarship in Teaaching study.
David's current research interests include:

- the impact of emerging media forms on the journalism curriculum
