Bio
Drago Heler has been engaged in philosophy for over 30 years. His early interest was in Anglo-American analytical philosophy, focussing on logic, metaphysics and the philosophy of science. For the past 20 years he has concentrated on the social, political and moral philosophy of the European tradition, as well as maintaining an interest in Indian, Chinese and Native Peoples philosophical traditions. In recent years his teaching has focussed on professional issues and applied ethics. He has taught in the adult education system for 25 years; written and performed in plays in conjunction with talks he has given on a variety of philosophical topics for the Philosophy Nights project; and has lectured at a number of universities over the past 15 years: including in business ethics at Wollongong University; bio-medical ethics and computer ethics at the University of New South Wales; political philosophy at Sydney University; social and political philosophy, the philosophy of technology, engineering ethics, and management ethics at the University of Western Sydney; and media ethics, and political & legal philosophy at Charles Sturt University. His degrees are from the University of Sydney .
