Bio
Rielle has worked in sales integrated marketing communication since 1986, turning her interests and talents to freelance journalism during the 1990s. Since 2000 she has consulted in media relations and public relations mainly for private industry. Rielle became Media Coordinator, in late 2004, for one of the State Emergency Service Units on the Central Coast . This led to her appointment as SES Sydney-Northern Region Head Office Community Education Officer. One of the areas of research for Rielle is the complexity of corporate identity and organisational communication in the recruitment and retention of volunteers in not-for-profit organisations. Rielle has also undertaken several years of research on organisational communication within the aged care and mental health sectors.
With a background that includes teaching Sydney-based and international students at TAFE, and compiling and conducting training sessions within small to medium size businesses, Rielle runs her own small consultancy, Taybert & Associates.
