Bio

"CSU graduates have an edge - a maturity and self-sufficiency - that is keenly sought by employers. I believe it is the accessibility of lecturers to students that gives them that edge. CSU deliberately keeps student numbers small so that we can have a genuine one-to-one relationship with each student. It's a winner for everyone involved!"

Zoe has a background in consulting and in-house public relations and she has worked on a diverse range of projects which include, internal communications and issues management for the agricultural chemicals sector.

As a consultant, Zoe specialises in professional writing, tourism and community relations. She is currently lecturing at postgraduate and undergraduate levels. While Zoe's professional interest lies in risk communication, her other interests include gardening, sport and her kids (mostly!).

Research

Zoe is developing joint research with Australian Defence Forces public affairs on the effectiveness (or otherwise) of embedding journalists in conflict situations. In 2005 she commenced studying for her Doctor of Communication through which she will continue her research focus on the Defence/Government and media interface.
