The University is committed to respecting the copyright of others and complying with all copyright requirements. Students should ensure that they respect the copyright of others and comply with all University policies and legal requirements. It is an infringement of the University’s Student General Misconduct Rule for students to breach the copyright or moral rights of a third party.
When using University systems or facilities, under the University’s Policy for the Use of Computing and Communication Facilities, an authorised user shall be personally responsible for complying with relevant provisions of the Copyright Act 1968 (Clth), as amended, particularly as it relates to the copying and communication of computer software and other copyright material on the Internet.
