About The School

The School of Humanities and Social Sciences, part of the Faculty of Arts of Charles Sturt University, is based at the Wagga Wagga campus and also has staff located at the Albury-Wodonga and Bathurst campuses of the university.

Academic staff come from a range of disciplines including:

  • English
  • History / Politics
  • Human Services
  • Justice Studies
  • Law / Social Policy
  • Philosophy
  • Sociology

Staff also teach in courses based in other schools of the Faculty of Arts and other faculties of the university; areas include applied ethics, media history, theory and policy, genetic counselling, policing history and investigations.
