Bio
Elizabeth joined the University in 1998, after 15 years practice experience in casework, management and policy positions in the government social service sector. As well as teaching social policy, case management and juvenile justice specialisations, Elizabeth has established a Social Justice Fund, a mechanism through which students and staff can seek support for projects that advance teaching and learning relevant to people in social equity groups. Elizabeth pursues her commitment to social justice through her professional engagement in contract teaching case management to practitioners and policy advice to government through the New South Wales Juvenile Justice Advisory Council. Her publications and research focus on social work in the contexts of criminal justice and community care.
