Marie Sheahan
Bio
Marie’s professional work has spanned research, teaching and practice in the areas of disabilities, rehabilitation, family support and NGO practice. She has mixed academic teaching and scholarship with working in the field of disability and community development over the past 20 years. She has participated in a range of community development projects in disability over the past twenty years including post school leisure and work programs for people with intellectual disabilities and developing training packages for working with the families of children with disabilities.
