Robyn Mason
Bio
Robyn’s background is in teaching and social work with experience in many fields including aged care, sexual assault and mental health. Her research interests include rural community services, rural women, citizenship and professionalism. Robyn has taught in higher education in Victoria for more than ten years, and commenced teaching at Charles Sturt in September 2006.
Teaching
Robyn is a member of the team teaching the HCS206 and HCS405 subjects in the BSW. She also supervises Honours and Higher Degree students, as well as students on placement around Australia.
Research
Robyn’s current projects include a developing investigation of bi-cultural workers supporting refugees, a project exploring social work student placements and a major research project looking at access to medical and justice services for rural women who have experienced sexual assault.
