Bio
As an ageing “baby boomer” who spent the first 15 years of his career as practicing psychologist and the last 20 years as an academic, I have a broad perspective on life and psychology. One of the great advantages of psychology as a career is that so much of the discipline content relates to life and living. In this respect, my debt to psychology is to transmit to students an appreciation of its breadth, expertise and relevance. I enjoy teaching psychology and supervising student research projects. My own applied and research interests over the years are reflected in my work experiences, teaching and research publications which are sampled below and elaborated in my CV.
