Brian Daly came to CSU following a 30 year career in operational policing, leaving the NSW Police Force at the rank of Inspector.
In his former career, Brian was stationed in the metropolitan area, and numerous country locations, also teaching student police officers for a 3 year period at the Police College. As a result of his service, Brian came to the University with wide ranging experience in operational policing, police management, and emergency management.
Brian's teaching experience includes teaching law and police procedure across a number of Police College based courses, along with teaching as a senior weapons instructor for both student police and operational police officers in the field. His links with the University over a long period have also seen Brian coordinate the delivery of a number of distance education subjects, along with teaching in the classroom.
Brian is currently undertaking the Graduate Certificate in University Learning and Teaching, and also the Doctor of Education program with Charles Sturt University.
