Profile

Wayne was a member of the NSW Police from 1986 to 2004 and spent the majority of his career performing duties as a Police Prosecutor. In 1990 he transferred from general duties to Legal Services where he undertook the Police Prosecutors Training Course. In 1992, after successfully completing that course, he was appointed to the position of Police Prosecutor. He was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in 1998.

Wayne had extensive experience in the prosecution of criminal matters and was also a legal and policy advisor for Legal Services. He performed duties as the Education and Development Officer for Legal Services including mentoring and training all Trainee Police Prosecutors. During his Police Service he regularly delivered training lectures to operational police at Local Area Command Training days, the Investigator's Course and at the Detective Education Program.
