Bio

Anna is a Clinical Psychologist employed in a part time (2 days per week) position as a Lecturer at Charles Sturt University .

Anna completed her undergraduate and postgraduate clinical training at the University of Sydney . Her doctoral research was in the area of help-seeking behaviour for anxiety and mood disorders. Anna has provided clinical services in settings including a problem gambling treatment unit, an eating disorders day program, university clinics, community mental health centres and three specialist anxiety clinics. Before moving to the Central West in 2003 Anna worked at the Macquarie University Anxiety Research Unit in a group treatment outcome study for Social Phobia. From 2003 to 2007 she worked as a Clinical Psychologist in the acute wards of a rural psychiatric hospital.

Anna's current role at CSU involves mainly teaching in fourth year and postgraduate clinical subjects and supervising postgraduate clinical research projects. When not teaching at CSU, Anna runs a private practice in Orange, specialising in the treatment of anxiety disorders within a cognitive behavioural framework.
