Matt Brain has worked in parishes, schools and other organizations in Perth, the North West of Western Australia and the Diocese of Canberra and Goulburn. He is an Anglican priest and has an interest in how ministry may be conducted across different contexts. 

Along with his role as Archdeacon and Director of Synergy Youth and Children, Matt is a Lecturer in Ministry and Outreach and the coordinator of the Master of Ministry at St Mark’s National Theological Centre, a partner in the School of Theology of Charles Sturt University. His doctorate is in the area of mission to young people.
