Welcome to the School of Accounting

The School of Accounting was established on 1 July, 2009 and specialises in the accounting and law disciplines. The School is a cross campus School with academic and general staff located on the Albury, Bathurst, Orange and Wagga Wagga campuses.

The School of Accounting offers courses in accounting and conducts research in both accounting and law. The courses offered by the School are accredited with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia and CPA Australia. These courses equip graduates for employment in the accounting profession as well as diverse areas in commerce, business and manufacturing.

The School coordinates the accounting and law subjects in the cross-campus undergraduate and postgraduate accounting and other business related courses, with subjects being taught in multiple modes – distance, internal, offshore tutorial and also video interaction with the Dubbo campus. Many subjects are taught by international partners and quality assured by the School.

Our academic and administrative staff are here to help students grow and succeed in their studies.

We have an active research profile in Financial and Management Accounting, focusing particularly on Accounting in the Public Sector, and Accounting Education, together with a number of researchers working in the areas of Social and Environmental Accounting, Ethics and Accounting, Accounting and Small Business, Environmental Law, International Trade Law, Transnational Commercial Law and aspects of Business Law.
