The International and Business Partnerships Unit (IBPU) operates within the strategic plans, directions and decisions taken by Charles Sturt University and the Faculty of Business. In this respect, the IBPU is established to:

School of BusinessManage the effective operation of the China BBS program, including:

  • the hosting and management of the professional enhancement of partner academic staff with respect to the development of teaching and research skills.
  • the effective management and operation of supplementary teaching visits.
  • the promotion of student exchange opportunities for CSU students to China and Chinese partner students to Australia.
  • oversee the effective academic management of the China student exchange program.

Manage the quality assurance of CSU programs at partner institutions through the effective moderation of work from various locations including China, Cambodia and Australia.

Maintain effective partner relationships with partner operations, e.g. TEI - China;  The Economics and Finance Institute in Cambodia; and Holmesglen Institute of TAFE in Melbourne.

Support research within the IBPU and between partner organisations including the supervision of international research students.

Oversee the development and professional enhancement of IBPU staff.

Promote and enhance the image of CSU in the international community.

Continue to seek new and strategically important educational partnerships.

Assist with the operations and management of CSU Study Centres in Sydney and Melbourne.
