About the Professional Development Unit
The Professional Development Unit (PDU) is a unit within CSU that is, essentially, an "educational broker" - we broker, facilitate and package educational courses to suit our clients' needs.
The PDU exists to leverage the resources and capabilities of Charles Sturt University - particularly the resources within the Faculty of Business - to facilitate consultancies and educational pathways with external partners.
Examples of PDU products and services:
- Australian Graduate Management Consortium (AGMC) delivers workplace based programs. Participants study for a university qualification at convenient TAFE locations, or in-house.
- Develop and deliver customised university courses to meet specific corporate needs.
- Work with industry associations to develop and deliver programs directly relevant to their members. Design of educational pathways that articulate from in-house programs to undergraduate and postgraduate university qualifications.
- Work with clients to conduct relevant research to assist their training and development systems.
The PDU is customer focused working to 'transport' you to your educational and professional goals. In other words, to achieve our aims of helping our clients we need to be flexible, professional and productive.
