Dr Parikshit K. Basu
- Analysis of Labour Market Dimensions of the Central West Region in NSW, 'CSU Small Grant' of $7,000, 2005–06. This research project provides a comparative and critical analysis of the principal factors operating in local labour markets (LLMs) in Australia with particular focus on the Central West region of NSW.
- Possibilities for closer economic ties between India and Australia in Capital Goods Industries in WTO Regime, 'Macquarie University Research Grant' of $20,000, 2004–05. (jointly with Dr. P Mukhopadhyaya of Macquarie University and Associate Professor U. Bhattacharya of IDSK, India). This research project intends to determine the areas of cooperation between India and Australia in the capital goods industry to identify and examine mutually beneficial areas of technology transfer and investments.
- Impacts of the Proposed Australia–China Free Trade Agreement on Investment Flows, CSU Faculty of Business 'Asia–Pacific Research Project Grant' of $5,000, 2005. (jointly with Professor John Hicks). This research project critically examines the impact of the proposed FTA between Australia and China on investment flows between the two countries. The project has been completed.

- 2000–2003 RIRDC project on attitudes and successful farming families; 1996 OLMA project on farmers and learning; 1999–2004 teaching and learning projects involving a capability approach to higher education, peer appraisal of teaching, action learning in teaching, situated learning in farm management education.

Mark Frost
- $5,000 Faculty Rural Management Research Grant Scheme with Dr. Judith Crockett to undertake a pilot study on the development of an industry cluster in the mining and engineering cluster within the Orange, Cabonne, and Blayney local government areas. The final project report and recommendations is currently being finalized with completion expected March 2006.
