Kerry has extensive senior and middle management experience in both the public and private sectors in Australia. Prior to joining CSU as a Lecturer in the School of Marketing and Management, Kerry worked as the Training/Project Manager with Macquarie Access (previously Macquarie Research Ltd., the commercial consultancy arm of Macquarie University). This was an executive position with a focus on commercializing the training and consulting projects of the University. Before this, she was Director of Continuing Education at the University of Western Sydney and prior to this Deputy Director of Community Services at Baulkham Hills Shire Council. Other positions have included, the Manager of a Youth Health in Penrith, and Coordinator of a regional training program for welfare and family support workers across Western Sydney.
Kerry's academic research interests include strategic management, women in management, executive development and training, higher education leadership and policy, leadership, diversity, gender issues, creativity and innovation, and also critical management issues.
